Psalms 45:1 - My heart overflows with a pleasing theme;
I address my verses to the king; my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.

Blessed by Radio Broadcast

Awhile, ago when I dropped my husband off at work, I came across a broadcast on the radio that immediately encouraged, inspired, blessed and touched me. The speaker was Dr. Todney Bynes. Despite the enemy’s attempts to hinder me, I persisted in finding his information. It was challenging to understand and write down the contact details while driving, but after months of persistence, I finally found his ministry’s website.

Many people have been struggling to find a community and love-based church. Recently, I spoke to a family member who shared the ugliness experienced at her church and by others. I understand that every church has its flaws, as it is a hospital for imperfect people. Nonetheless, the level of ugliness, lack of community, and unloving behavior can be off-putting to many.

One day, my husband unexpectedly changed the channel, and to my dismay, I couldn’t find Dr. Bynes. I turned to my husband and said, “Please, let me know before you switch the channel. I always look forward to hearing Dr. Bynes’ words of encouragement, especially when I’m in the car. It truly blesses me.”

If you are looking for a church home, I urge you to seek the face of God and ask Him to guide you to where you should plug in. I want to rebuke and bind all church hurt in Jesus’ mighty name. Lord, help us to let it go and shake it off. This is a trick of the enemy, as many people struggle to find a community-minded place, which is truly sad.

For many of us, we hold a deep desire to follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, which encourages us not to forsake the assembly of the brethren. However, there are moments when the demands and pressures become overwhelming. That’s all I’ll say about that right now. That’s a topic for a different day.

I love this pastor’s teachings and how he loves, cares and encourages his flock. It brings me joy to see that much of what he teaches aligns with what the Lord has ministered to me for years. I ask the Lord to remember him, his family, bless them and hold them up with His mighty right hand and outstretched arms in Jesus’ mighty name.

I recently joined the prayer line and was truly blessed by the love and unity that prevailed there. It is indeed rare, but it shouldn’t be that way. Love and unity should be the norm in Christendom.

Once again, I commend this pastor for his efforts to exemplify Jesus’ teachings, just as He did during His time on Earth.

Hebrews 10:25 – Not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.
