So, we were super excited to attend a service that I had been looking forward to. However, a few days before, we discovered that registration was required, which we were unaware of. Fortunately, a young lady from the church registered my husband and emailed the tickets to me, for which I was extremely grateful. However, both tickets were issued under my husband’s name. Despite my assurance that I had thoroughly checked the emails and found them in my husband’s name, she insisted that she had sent them correctly. It was frustrating.
Upon reaching the venue, I found myself agitated by many things. The line was long, but Praise God for His favor! Being in ministry allowed us to bypass the line and enter the service. The music was excessively loud, causing discomfort and pain in my head and ears. Additionally, I couldn’t sit in my preferred spot. I prefer to sit on the end seat of a row to avoid any inconvenience to others when I need to go to the bathroom. I don’t want to intrude on others’ personal space by putting my butt in anyone’s face. So, feeling agitated, I went to the restroom and sat there for a while, thinking that I couldn’t handle the overwhelming noise and the loud music, singing, and praying.
I stayed in the bathroom for so long that my husband started looking for me, wondering where I was. I had to navigate through narrow aisles to return to my seat and ended up sitting in the back. Then, a young lady began singing and ushered in the presence of the Lord, and I started feeling better. Despite going in with a backache and exhaustion, I started to find solace. The guy singing a song my deceased mother used to sing brought back memories of her, making me feel a bit sad. However, as the young lady sang another song and ushered in the presence of the Lord once more, I started feeling better. Hallelujah!
Eventually, the guest speaker began ministering, and I could sense the presence of the Lord and the power of God touching me and quickening me. My body was weak, I was moving very slowly, but when the power of God touched me, I jumped up and walked back and forth down my row, with people making way for me! Truly, nobody can do us like Jesus! I had to repent for taking offense and having a bad attitude. Despite all the initial challenges, I was genuinely touched by the power and presence of a Holy and Righteous God, and I gave Him all the praise, honor, and glory.
I was deeply moved when a young lady came and gave me a loving hug. It’s always a tremendous blessing to encounter people who genuinely reflect the love of Christ. I am grateful for all my spiritual eyes seen and heard during that service. I thank Him for revealing Himself and using His people so mightily!
I am deeply grateful for the extraordinary power, mercy, grace and anointing that our Extraordinary Father bestows upon us, and how He quickens our mortal bodies.
I have witnessed time and time again the awe-inspiring greatness of His being. He is truly deserving of endless praise and adoration!
Habakkuk 3:2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.
