Psalms 45:1 - My heart overflows with a pleasing theme;
I address my verses to the king; my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.

God Almighty is Well-Pleased!

God is well-pleased with the fervent, sincere, and effective prayers of the righteous that avail much! We have touched His heart! I thank God for the righteous remnant and the true Church of Christ who has stepped up their game and turned it up a notch. Our prayers can hold back darkness and thwart the enemy’s plans. While we cannot stop everything—some events are destined to happen. I remember the words of a woman of God who asked me, “Sister, can you imagine how much worse it could be if we weren’t praying?” Let’s continue to bombard heaven and God’s throne room; your prayers have not gone unnoticed. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Yahweh is the God who sees you and will reward you accordingly. “And without faith, it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). Hallelujah!

The idea that God is pleased with the prayers of the saints, likening them to sweet-smelling incense, is a beautiful metaphor found in Scripture. Here’s a summary along with relevant verses:

Summary

In the Holy Bible, prayers are often depicted as offerings to God, symbolizing devotion and faith. The imagery of incense represents the pleasing nature of these prayers, indicating that they are acceptable to God and rise to Him with a sweet aroma.

Key Scriptures

1.   Revelation 5:8 (NIV):

“And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.”

2.   Revelation 8:3-4 (NIV):

“Another angel, who had a golden censor, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.”

3.   Psalm 141:2 (NIV):

“May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.”

These verses illustrate that God values the prayers of His people, and they ascend to Him as a pleasing offering, reflecting their faith and devotion.

I think about all the prayers going up to heaven 24/7—from social media platforms, pulpits across the country, Zoom calls, and phone lines nationwide. Again, I say, God is pleased, and His ears are open to the cries and prayers of the righteous (Psalm 34:15-19).

Consider it: prayers are rising in every tongue and language. Oh my God! May the prayers of the saints continue to go up before God like sweet smelling incense!  Let’s continue to rejoice about all He’s done, doing and going to do by His spirit and according to His Word! Let’s continue to pray without ceasing!

May the God of Israel renew, revive, restore, strengthen, overtake, and overshadow you—this is my prayer. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). May virtue return to your body. May the same power that raised Y’shua from the dead quicken your mortal body is my prayer!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Let’s keep it going until we experience an outpouring and weight of His Kabod (glory)!  Glory be to His name! May God renew, revise, restore, and strengthen all intercessors! May the virtue you have poured out be returned to you in Y’shua’s mighty name!
