My husband met a believer at his job who had been listening to our radio station. He shared how he had been touched and blessed by the content, which we were grateful to hear. Praise the Lord Y’shua!
One day, when I went to pick my husband up, the man recognized our vehicle and approached me. I realized he must be the person my husband had mentioned. He came over to the car and told me how much he had been enjoying my messages and the station. Then he requested prayer, and as I prayed for him, he began to weep. I heard the Lord say that His ears are open to the cries and prayers of the righteous. Someone needs to grab hold of that truth!
We had a mini service right there in the parking lot. Hallelujah! I thank the Lord for His supernatural and extraordinary visitations and for doing what only He can do in the lives of His people!
Later, as I reflected on that encounter, I marveled at how few people return to acknowledge your labor of love amidst your private battles, attacks, struggles, and pain. There’s a price, a cost, and sacrifices that have been made to bring these kingdom projects to life. I salute this precious man of God and others for recognizing the gift of God in their midst. All glory to the mighty one of Israel! This experience is always encouraging and motivates us to continue running the race set before us. I don’t seek the accolades of others, but every now and then it’s encouraging to hear that people are being blessed by our efforts for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom, rather than our own. Most importantly, He will never forget our labor of love and will always reward us accordingly!
I’m reminded of the one leper who returned to Jesus to say thank you. Jesus asked, “Were there not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?” (Luke 17:17, NKJV). Let us be like that one leper who returns to express gratitude. I’m also reminded of Jesus, who was not recognized by the people, resulting in their failure to receive His blessings. Although He was in the world and the world was made through Him, it did not recognize Him. He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God (John 1:10-12).
